ATLANTA, GA – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's cross-country teams got their first ASUN weekly honors as Victor Tvistholm Jorgensen won the men cross-country Freshman of the Week and Livia Wespe won the women's cross-country Freshman of the Week.

"Both were recruited with high expectations. It's great to see them finding their stride immediately with us and fitting into our system here. This is just the start for both of them."
 
Livia Wespe finished second in the Queen City Invite 5K with a time of 18:05.36. Victor Tvistholm Jorgensen also finished second in the Queen City Invite 8K with a time of 25:14.23. Both were big factors in the Royals sweeping their first Division 1 cross country meet in school history.
 
What's Next?
Queens travels to Louisville, Kentucky for the Live in Lou Classic on Saturday, September 30th. The following weekend, the Royals host another meet in the Royals XC Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park on Friday, October 6th. The meet begins at 3:30.
