CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  After opening their 2023 season on the road, the Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team will host their season opener on Friday, Sept. 15 at Bessant Field. The Royals (0-6) will face Lindenwood University (0-3) at 5 p.m.
 
Both teams will be in search of their first win on Friday night as both programs are in year two of their Division I transition. The Lions took the last meeting between the pair, winning 3-1 a season ago. Additionally, the Royals trail in the series, 4-2. Queens last defeated Lindenwood during the 2021 season winning 4-1.
 
Admission
Admission is free for all of the Royals field hockey games this season. Fans should visit Ticket Central  to get a fast pass for free admission to each game during the 2023 season.
