FARMVILLE, Va. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (0-6) fell 5-1 to Longwood University (2-4) in the final game of a six-game road swing to open their season.

Right after the Royals were able to get a goal on the board courtesy of Karlee Alt, Longwood restored their two-goal lead just a minute and fifty-one seconds later with an unassisted goal from Luna Prieri to stop a full comeback before it began.
