CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (0-7) fell 1-0 in a close game to Lindenwood University (1-3) at the Royals' home opener this evening.

A Lindenwood goal in the 22nd minute proved the difference maker as the Royals were shutout by goalie Kyla Cooke, who stopped all three shots from the Royals.
