CLEVELAND, TN – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's outdoor track and field teams had an amazing Friday as they made big marks at the David Noble Relays and day one of the Flames Invitational.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
On the final day of the David Noble Relays, Melanie Welsing and Cerys Lee each won their individual events.

• Welsing broke the school record in the 100m hurdle as she won the event with a time of 13.39.
• Cerys Lee got a personal best of 5.79m to leap in the long jump.

For day one of the Flames Invitational, the Royals got new personal bests in their events.

• Natalie Bash got the 10^th fastest 10K time in Queens' history as she ran 25 laps in 37:31:67 which placed her 23^rd in the event,
• Tom Heal won the heat in the 1500m and got in the top 15 in the last 800m in a time of 2:00.81.
• Dionysius Rolle finished 13^th in the 200m as he finished under 22 seconds for the third time in his career.
• Mitch Cox ran a personal best of 14:37.38 in the 5000m to finish the race in 11^th.
• Ethan Davis and Chloe Widmann also got personal bests in the 5K with times of 15.08.25 and 18:37.88.

The Royals will finish out the weekend at the Flames Invitational on April 8^th.
