JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team (9-6, 4-2) faced Jacksonville University (9-6, 5-1) this afternoon in ASUN Conference play falling 27-6 to the Dolphins.
How It Happened
Queens kept things close in the opening quarter trailing just 6-3 at the close. However, four straight goals from Jacksonville at the start of the second would help the home team put some space between themselves and the Royals. By the half, Queens trailed 15-5 and was down their top defender as
Grace Guglielmo was handed two yellow cards in the first half.
In the second, the Dolphins were able to hold the Royals scoreless until
Colby Dugdale found the back of the net with 25 seconds to play. During that time, Jacksonville tacked on an additional 12 goals.

- Kayleen Favreau led the Royals with three points on two goals and one assist.
- Sharn Muffett took the loss in goal after tallying eight saves against her former team. Caroline Kraemer tallied six saves.
- Addy Tysdal earned the win in goal for Jacksonville after totaling six saves.
- Lauren Craft led the Dolphins with five goals while Sarah Elms added four goals and one assist. Three others recorded hat tricks.
- Queens was outshot 58-15 by Jacksonville who put 41 shots on goal compared to the Royals' 14 shots on goal.
- Jacksonville won the battle in the draw circle, taking 25 of the 35 draw controls. They also recorded 24 ground balls to Queens' 14.
