MACON, Ga. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team (2-11, 1-7) traveled to take on the Mercer Bears (5-9, 4-4) this afternoon falling 18-5.
How it Happened
Mercer quickly jumped out in front in today's game, scoring six unanswered goals before
Colby Suglia found the back of the net for Queens with 2:02 on the clock to give the game a 6-1 score heading into the second. The Royals would fare better in the second, holding the Bears to just three goals while putting two on the board to trail 9-3 at the halftime break.
The Royals were still battling to get out of the hole in the third adding two more goals to their total. However, the Bears would remain in front scoring four more times in the quarter. Mercer then held the Royals scoreless in the fourth period while putting five more points on the board to solidify their win.
