"The team played hard for 60-plus minutes and our defense was outstanding today," head coach Chris Panos stated. "We had plenty of opportunities to win the game in regulation and in overtime, but ultimately have to credit VMI on their victory in crunch time.

I was proud of the players for their resilience and grit throughout the contest, and look forward to another opportunity to get better this week in practice, as we prepare for another strong out-of-conference opponent on the road next week."
