The Short Story:Â The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team fell 69-63 to Western Carolina on Wednesday afternoon. The Royals drop to 5-7 while the Catamounts improve to 3-10 on the season.

- The fourth quarter proved to be the Royals' best offensive quarter as the team scored 29 points and went on its largest scoring run 8-0.

- Queens continued their struggles behind the arc shooting 17 percent.
