The Short Story: The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team fell 62-46 to Radford University on Sunday afternoon. The Royals drop to 5-6 while the Highlanders improve to 4-8 on the season.

• Kemia Ward finished with double-digit points in her first game as a Royal and her first game in over a year. Ward finished the game with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks.
• Nicole Gwynn led the team with 11 points.
• Coming off the bench Kennedy Fuller netted a season high 8 points shooting 4-5 from the field.

NOTABLE MOMENTS

• Queens went on its biggest scoring run in the second quarter 7-0
• The offensive productivity was low in the game, but the team managed to improve shooting in the fourth quarter. The Royals shot 36 percent from the field in the last 10 minutes of the game.

• Queens struggled behind the arc with the team making only 2 of 15 three-point attempts.
• The Royals bench outscored the Highlanders' bench 16-15
