JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team won a critical conference victory at North Florida on Saturday night. The 1-0 shutout keeps the Royals ASUN Tournament possibilities alive with two matches remaining on the season.

Turning Point
Following 57 minutes of scoreless action, the Royals found the back of the net for the game-winner on a corner kick opportunity. Lauri Kesti sent a right-footed boot into the box and found the head of Michel Feldman who beat the keeper down the middle of the net. The eventual game-winner was Feldman's second of the season.

• Sophomore Michel Feldman extended his team-best scoring total with his fifth goal of the year. All five goals have come in the last three matches as Filipe Mendonca was the last Royals to score five goals in three straight matches.
• Freshman Lauri Kesti recorded his first career assist on the only goal. The left-back sent a perfect right-swinging corner kick into the box in front of goal where Feldman handled the rest.
• Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi finished with a team-high three shots, including two on goal. The forward turned in back-to-back multi-shot outings.
• Cole Pumpian recorded his first career multi-shot outing.
• Oskar Wolf, Lauri Kesti, and Roberto Alvarez added a shot.
• Freshman Evan Morris notched his third career shutout picking up seven faces after facing 12 shots.
• Evan Morris, Samuel Idinge, Oskar Wolf, Josh Chapman, Pantelis Panteli, and Roberto Alvarez recorded 90-minute performances.
• The clean sheet was the Royals fourth of the season.
• Heading into the final week of action, the Royals cling to the sixth and final seed of the ASUN Tournament.

Queens will return home for their final two matches of the regular season. The Royals will face off against VMI on Tuesday, October 25^th at 5:00 p.m. for their final non-conference clash before welcoming FGCU in the season finale on Saturday, October 28^th at 4:00 p.m. Prior to the match, the Royals will honor their senior class.
