JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Queens University of Charlotte triathlon team opened its first season at the DI level competing in the East Tennessee State University Aquathlon which consisted of a 500-yard swim and a two-mile run.

"I'm very happy to open the season the way we did today and earn the program's first DI win," Director of Triathlon Sonni Dyer stated. "An early season aquathlon is a great hard effort opener that we can train through and even build on from here forward. ETSU did a great job hosting, and I am very proud of our women for kicking the season off this way."
