CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte triathlon team opened its 2026 campaign winning the Buccaneer Collegiate Cup this evening. The win is the first for the Royals under the leadership of Director of Triathlon
Roee Zoarets.
The Royals dominated the season-opening event, claiming half of the top 10 spots in the race as four Royals finished inside the top five. NCAA DII National Champion Zoila Sicilia of Lenoir-Ryne was able to narrowly defeat Quens' Constanz Antoniotti for first place, crossing the line just six seconds ahead of her.
