CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's rugby team will compete at the inaugural USA Rugby 7s Collegiate Championships this weekend, May 14-15 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium at Kennesaw State University in Atlanta.
The Royals have been selected to compete amongst the top Division 1 and NIRA teams across the country and will be showcased on national television with tournament matches broadcasted live on NBC, CNBC, and Peacock. The tournament will follow the Olympic format of seven players per side and seven minutes per half.
Queens will compete in the Women's Gold division. The division's 12 teams are listed below along with their respective pools.

Queens will play three matches on Saturday against each of its Pool C counterparts. The Royals' Saturday schedule is as follows:
11:00am – Field 2 – Queens vs. Sacred Heart (Division 1 NCAA)
12:48pm – Main Stadium (Field 1) – Queens vs. Life (NAIA)
5:40pm – Field 2 – Queens vs. Army (Division 1 NCAA)
Sunday's championship schedule will be announced after Saturday's results.
