ROCK HILL, S.C. - Queens University of Charlotte baseball player Jordan Briones was honored as the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Baseball Elite 20 Award winner on Friday, April 29. The senior was presented the award during the awards ceremony at the SAC Championships prior to first pitch of the Queens and Lenoir-Rhyne game.

Briones, a senior from Jacksonville, Fla. has a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Biology.

The Elite 20 award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.
