CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (28-3; 21-3 SAC) jumped up to No. 4 in the final NABC Coaches Poll of the season. The No. 4 ranking is the highest end of season Coaches Poll ranking in program history, and the second time this season that Queens has been in the top five nationally. The Royals also moved up to No. 4 in the D2SIDA National Media Poll.
The Royals enter the big dance as winners of their last 15 games and will be the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional beginning this weekend in Augusta, Georgia. The NCAA Tournament appearance marks the 15th time in program history that the Royals have reached the tournament, and the seventh straight season under Head Coach
Bart Lundy. Queens is coming off their second South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship after dropping Carson-Newman last Sunday in Greenville, S.C. The conference championship is the Royals fifth conference title in program history.
