Charlotte, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team dropped their second straight match on Saturday falling to the No. 11 North Georgia Nighthawks 5-2 at the Howard Levine Tennis Center.
 
The two programs fought it out in doubles action to kick off the afternoon as the junior duo of Edoardo Bottino and Edoardo Cecere came out on top 6-0 in No. 1 doubles. However, the Nighthawks would grab victories on the No. 2 and No. 3 courts to clinch the doubles point.
 
In singles play, the Nighthawks took over winning four out of the six matchups, as five of the six singles matches went the distance—three sets. Freshmen's Win Steveker, and Laurenz Blickwede were the lone Royals to win in singles competition, winning in the second and third set, 7-6, 6-4 in the No. 3 position, and first and third set 7-6, 6-1 respectively in the No. 4 position.
 
The Royals will remain in the Queen City as they host Coker University on Tuesday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. from the Howard Levine Tennis Center.
