Queens Men's Basketball Ready to Welcome Clinton College on Thursday Afternoon

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (1-0) is ready to welcome Clinton College (3-3) to Curry Arena on Thursday afternoon. Prior to the non-conference tilt, the program will recognize their 2022 South Atlantic Conference Tournament Champions with a ring ceremony on the court.

LAST TIME OUT
In their inaugural Division 1 opener on Monday night, Queens took down Marshall in front of an electric 1,608 rowdy fans. The 1,608 fans were the most since Queens hosted Augusta in the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2018-19 which drew 1,429 fans. With nine seconds remaining, senior Kenny Dye dropped in a go-ahead layup giving the Royals an 83-82 lead. The Thundering Herd would get two looks underneath the basket, but couldn't sink the game-winner in. Queens managed to close the evening shooting 4-for-4 from the field while holding the visiting Herd to 1-for-8 in the final three minutes.
