CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's rugby team celebrated Senior Day recording a win, a loss, and a tie in 7's competition versus Lander University.
Queens pulled away in match one to win comfortably in a 29-7 final. Lander scored the final ten points in match two to defeat the Royals 15-10. Queens rallied to a 19-0 lead in match three before the Bearcats tallied 19 consecutive points to end the final match in a 19-19 tie.
Abby Tobias led the Royals scoring three tries and one conversion.
Rachel Holloway scored two tries while
Mary Tschannen,
Jalie Albrecht-Reed, and
Jessica Gozlan each scored one. Gozlan also recorded two conversions.

Queens plays its season finale April 10 in Blacksburg, Virginia versus Mount St. Mary's in 15's competition.
