HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team (1-16, 1-15 SAC) continued South Atlantic Conference play today at Lincoln Memorial University (7-10,6-10 SAC), falling 75-52.

The Royals took an early lead when
Kalaya Hall knocked down the games' first three-pointer, and
Amari Davis and
Lauren Fields soon followed with jumpers to bring the lead to 7-2 in the first four minutes of play. Lincoln Memorial University responded with five unanswered points to tie the game 7-7 before taking over control of the lead on a three from Jordan Maney. Queens went on to end the period trailing, 22-13.

Caitlyn Moore helped the Royals cut the deficit to seven connecting on a pair of free-throws early in the second, and a made layup by
Christina Deng would cut Lincoln Memorial's lead to five, 22-17, soon after. Queens then pulled within five two more times before the Railsplitters were able to increase their lead to 13, 34-21, with 2:23 on the clock. However, the Royals had an answer late in the half when
Tia McMillian and
Kelsey Leedle combined to score three three-pointers, bringing the score to 36-30 at the break.

In the third quarter, Leedle drained another three to keep the momentum high for the Royals and cut the deficit to four, 37-33. LMU would then go on a 14-0 run to take control of the game for good increasing their lead to as much as 30 points in the fourth quarter of action.

Deng led the Royals with a Queens career-high 16 points and eight rebounds. Davis finished play with eight points and three rebounds while Hall and Leedle each chipped in seven points.
Taylor Stevens recorded six assists and four steals.

Queens will be back in action on Monday, February 22 at Anderson. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
