PHILIPPI, Wva. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's rugby team (11-1) suffered its first loss of the season to West Chester (6-0) by a final score of 25-17.

In a battle of undefeated teams, the Royals rallied late scoring the match's final 12 points, but ultimately, fell short.

Avery Kemora, Megan Reed, and Maddie Hughes scored tries for the Royals. Allie English added a conversion in a hard fought match between two postseason-bound teams.

Queens will gear up for postseason play in November.
