CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's rugby (6-2; 6-0 Chesapeake Conference) defeated Mary Washington to win the Chesapeake Conference Championship in a decisive 32-5 victory on Senior Day.

In a match between two teams undefeated in conference play, Queens pulled away to secure the conference championship in its inaugural season in the Chesapeake Conference. Queens dominated the second half, 19-0, and secured a playoff home match.

Hilton Olivier scored a try, two penalty kicks, and three conversions to lead the team.

Seniors, Prince-Louis Bush, Doyle Hedgepeth, Bradley Kenyon, Martin Pierce, Cord Richardson, Jacob Tingom, Raitavius Whitner, Alex Balladares, Alston Burton, Marshall Frank, Benji Hund, and Jacob Morris were celebrated before the match for their considerable contributions to the growth and success of the men's rugby program.

Queens will enter the NCR playoffs primed for a deep postseason run.
