CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's rugby (6-2; 6-0 Chesapeake Conference) defeated Mary Washington to win the Chesapeake Conference Championship in a decisive 32-5 victory on Senior Day.
In a match between two teams undefeated in conference play, Queens pulled away to secure the conference championship in its inaugural season in the Chesapeake Conference. Queens dominated the second half, 19-0, and secured a playoff home match.
Hilton Olivier scored a try, two penalty kicks, and three conversions to lead the team.
