CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team played No. 11 Limestone University to a 0-0 draw this afternoon at Dickson Field on Senior Day. The final regular-season home game tie brings the Royals' overall record to 5-6-2. Their South Atlantic Conference record now sits at 4-3-2.
Both teams recorded 14 shots as the Royals put eight shots on goal compared to Limestone's seven shots on goal.
Matheus Pereira and
Elvis Menayese each recorded two shots on goal to lead Queens.
In goal,
Nicolai Andersen tallied seven saves while Limestone goalkeeper Johann Hipper totaled eight saves.
