HARROGATE, TENN. – The No. 16 Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis rebounded from a midweek loss to pick up a 7-0 shutout of fellow South Atlantic Conference member Lincoln Memorial University on Sunday morning.
 
The Royals won all three doubles matchups to earn the first point of the day, beginning with a 6-1 win at No. 3 from Sebastian Meum and Kasper Rolfsen. The No. 40 duo of Paolo Bompieri and Joel Dunlap also won 6-1, followed by a 6-2 triumph from the 39^th-ranked tandem of Julian Bosch and Agustin Aran Martin.
 
Senior Mathias Degardin got singles play started with a 6-3, 6-0 win in the third flight. Bompieri followed with a 6-1, 7-6 win at No. 1, while Aran Martin, the nation's No. 44 singles player, sealed the match victory with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph in the second position.
 
Meum collected his fourth straight win with a 0-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory and Dunlap was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at No. 4. Rolfsen finished off the match with an 8-1 win to complete the shutout.
 
"We played a solid match today," said Queens Head Tennis Coach Billy Boykin. "The guys were focused and played hard."
 
Queens remains on the road for their next match on Wednesday, April 3, when the team travels to Salisbury, N.C. for a matchup with Catawba College at 3 p.m.
