CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Queens University of Charlotte releases the Royal Rundown, which previews all of the athletics events for the week of February 26 – March 3.
 
Queens Coaches Show

This past weekend the Queens men's basketball team clinched the 2018-19 South Atlantic Conference regular season title with a 102-88 win over Carson-Newman. Join Head Men's Basketball Coach Bart Lund this Thursday, Feb. 28, at 12 p.m. for the Queens Coaches Show in the Trexler Dining Hall on the Queens campus. The Queens Coaches Show is a 30-minute interview-style program that airs live on 730 AM The Game ESPN Charlotte and streaming on ESPNCharlotte.net.
 
Baseball
 
After getting rained out this past weekend, the Royals will travel to Florence, S.C. to face Francis Marion University on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m.

Queens then competes in their first South Atlantic Conference game in history on Friday, Mar. 1. The Royals will host the Cobras of Coker at 6 p.m. on Friday and then again on Saturday, Mar. 2 in a double-header set for 1 and 4 p.m. All games will be played at the Intimidators Stadium in Kannapolis, N.C.

Men's Basketball
 
After clinching the SAC regular season title this past weekend, the Royals will travel to Wingate, N.C. for their final away game of the regular season. Queens will face the Bulldogs on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m.

The Royals then return home for their final home game, before the post-season, on Saturday, Mar. 2. Queens will play host to Mars Hill University on Senior Day. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. in Curry Arena.
 
Prior to the game, the Royals will be celebrating their two seniors, Shaun Willett and Lewis Diankulu.

Women's Basketball
 
Queens women's basketball travels to Wingate, N.C. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, their final road game of the regular season. The Royals and the Bulldogs are set to tip-off at 6 p.m.

Queens then returns home for Senior Day on Saturday, Mar. 2. The Royals host the Lions of Mars Hill at 2 p.m. in Curry Arena.
 
During halftime of the men's game, the team will celebrate its seniors, Lade Adepoju, Carolina Bernardeco, Ceara Leavai, and Cheyenne Logan.

Women's Golf
 
Queens women's golf kicks off the week at the Battle at Hilton Head Island hosted by Barton College. The tournament begins on Monday, Feb. 25 and lasts until Tuesday, Feb. 26 in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
 
 
Men's Lacrosse
 
Following the upset of #13 Mount Olive, Queens men's lacrosse looks to earn their fourth win of the season against Limestone College. The Royals and the Saints face-off on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 12 p.m. in Gaffney, S.C.
 
Last season, the Royals upset the Saints, who were ranked #7 at the time, 15-14.
 
Women's Lacrosse
 
After snagging a home-opening victory over Belmont Abbey on Saturday, the Royals head back down to Florida to face Florida Tech on Sunday, Mar. 3. The two teams will face-off at 3 p.m. in Melbourne, Fla.
 
Women's Rugby
 
Queens women's rugby continues their 7's season with a trip to Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday, Mar. 1. The Royals are set to take on the Tarheels in a 7 p.m. match.
 
Softball
 
Queens softball will face Augusta University in a doubleheader on Thursday, Feb. 28. The first pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Park Road Park. The two teams were scheduled to meet on Feb. 16, but it was postponed due to severe weather.
 
The Royals then welcome the University of Charleston to Park Road Park on Saturday, Mar. 2. The two teams will play a doubleheader set for 1 and 3 p.m.
 
Saturday's game is also Queens' Bark in the Park day. We welcome all dogs to come out and enjoy some softball with the Royals. There will be complimentary milk bones for the dogs as well!

Tennis
 
Following a rained-out weekend the Royals are back in action on Friday, Mar. 1 at the Howard Levine Tennis Center. Queens welcomes Columbus State University for a 2 p.m. match. Currently, Queens' men are ranked #21 in the nation while the women are ranked #15 in the nation. Columbus State's men are ranked #2 and their women are ranked #6.
 
The Royals then host Flagler College on Sunday, Mar. 3 in a 10 a.m. match at the Howard Levine Tennis Center. Currently, the Flagler men's team is ranked #15 in the nation.
 
Men's Volleyball
 
Queens men's volleyball hits the road for a Tennessee road trip this coming weekend. On Thursday, Feb. 28 Queens will face Lincoln Memorial University at 7 p.m. in Harrogate, Tenn.
 
The Royals then head to Bristol, Tenn., where they meet King University in a 7 p.m. match on Friday, Mar. 1.
