The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team (9-5; 6-3 SAC) knocked off Newberry (9-7; 5-5 SAC) by a final score of 4-1.

David Alvarez captured an early 2-1 lead and the Royals never wavered. Queens solidified its lead in the 56th minute with a connection between sophomore midfielder
Jaden McCane and junior midfiedler
Keegan Burton creating a two-score advantage. The Royals added another in the 84th minute from
Caleb Patsch to pocket a three-score victory.
The Royals led in both shots categories and jumped to second place in the current South Atlantic Conference standings. Queens returns to action Wednesday, November 6th at home vs Anderson for its regular season finale at 7:30 p.m.
