CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (5-4) welcomed Bloomsburg University (3-6) to Bessant Field for a nonconference game this afternoon, falling 2-1 in in double overtime to the Huskies.

A corner early in the fourth then gave Queens its best chance to move in front of the Huskies during regulation, but Ashley Maxwell of Bloomsburg would come up with her second defensive save of the day on the play.

Queens put two shots on goal over the course of both overtime periods before Bloomsburg's Arden Morgans scored today's game-winner in the 77th.
