Hartsville, SC - The Queens University of Charlotte women's volleyball team (16-5; 13-3 SAC) got back in the win column securing a convincing win over Coker (6-14; 3-13) 3-0.
The win solidifies a season-sweep over Coker and keeps Queens within two games of first place in the South Atlantic Conference. Set One was the closest of the three with the Royals outmatching the Cobras by scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-19.
Queens outhit the Cobras by over 10% and notched eight more service aces. Junior outside hitter Jordan Proszenyak led Queens with 10 kills followed by 8 from senior outside hitter Casey Tarvin and junior middle hitter Logan Witt. Senior setter Mallory Swarts finished with 28 assistsÂ
Queens returns home Friday, November 1st vs Lenoir-Rhyne at 7 p.m.
