WINTER PARK, Fla.  – The Queens University of Charlotte Royals, currently ranked 10
th in this week's national poll, fell 15-4 this evening at No. 13 Rollins College. The Royals now sit 1-3 on the year while the Tars improve to 4-2. Rollins also now leads the all-time series, 7-3. Â Â

Katie Wardle led Queens recording the second hat trick of her career.
Taylor Quade added one goal and
Hanna Scott totaled one assist.

Wardle's first goal of the day would come at 14:46 trailing three goals by the Tars to make the score 4-1 in Rollins' favor. The Tars then scored six unanswered goals to take a 9-1 lead into the break.

The Royals outscored the Tars, 3-2, in the opening 10:30 of the second half, but Queens would not find another goal in the game as Rollins found the back of the net four more times before the end of regulation to take the 11-point win.

The Royals were outshot, 29-15, putting 10 shots on goal compared to the 23 shots on frame recorded by the Tars.
Chase Brokaw took the loss in goal for Queens after totaling eight saves.

Hannah Ashton led the Tars with four goals while Kallie German totaled three goals and two assists for five points. Paige Brock tallied four points with three goals and one assist, and Megan Cury had four points on two goals and two assists. Malorie Olin took the win in goal after recording six saves.

The Royals will have a quick turnaround as they travel to No. 1 Florida Southern to face the Mocs on Thursday, March 8 at noon. Florida Southern leads the all-time series over Queens, 6-0.
