CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team played regionally ranked No. 4 Lenoir-Rhyne (4-2-2, 1-2-1) to a 0-0 overtime draw tonight. The Royals now sit at 4-3-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC).

In a 110-minute battle, Queens got off 13 shots in total for the night to the Bears' six. Royals goalkeeper,
Sergio Lemus, accumulated two saves to Lenoir-Rhyne's three.
Adam Ward led the Royals with two shots on goal followed by
Edmundo Robinson who had one shot on goal.

Queens is on the road next week on Wednesday, October 4 as they travel to Catawba College for a match at 7:30 p.m. The Royals will look to avenge their 2016 regular season 2-1 loss to the Indians. They return home next Saturday, October 7 to face Mars Hill at 7:30 p.m. at the Queens Sports Complex.
