However, the Railsplitters found the back of the net three more times in the second period to take a 7-2 lead at the half.

Queens came out of the break determined to overcome their deficit as they held the Railpslitters scoreless in the third period while putting three additional points on the board. They would head into the final 15 minutes of action trailing by just two, 7-5.

In the fourth, the Royals went scoreless as Lincoln Memorial found their rhythm on the offensive end again. The Railsplitters increased their lead to six, 11-5 before the final horn sounded.

Queens outshot the Railsplitters, 39-31, putting 21 of those shots on goal. The Royals were also edged in ground balls, 33-28.
