CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Having won four straight games since its lone loss of the season, the No. 4/7 Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (20-1, 14-1 SAC) hosts Brevard College (2-19, 0-15 SAC) on Saturday in the second game of this year's homecoming doubleheader. The Royals beat the Tornados 88-51 in the season's first meeting on Dec. 7th. Queens leads the all-time series with Brevard 6-2, emerging victorious in each of the last five affairs.
During the recent hot streak Queens is led in scoring by
Jalin Alexander, who is averaging 20.5 points per game in that span. The four-game winning streak is the fourth longest active streak in the South Atlantic Conference. With seven games left in the regular season, Queens sports a two-game lead over Lincoln Memorial for the top spot in the conference standings.
Opening tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Curry Arena. The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at halftime of the contest.Â
