The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team fell, 2-1, to Coker College (2-8-1, 1-6-1) on Senior Night. This game puts the Royals at 6-5-4 overall and 3-4-3 in the South Atlantic Conference.

After a scoreless first half Coker struck first in the 51
st minute of play with a goal by Aladdin Elfares. Queens then came back to tie the score up in the 66
th minute when senior
Juan Carlos Carrillo received a pass from
Michael James to put one in the back of the net.

Unfortunately, the final goal of the game came in the 78
th minute when Chris Bordelon lofted a ball into Cameron McDonald who finished with a header putting the Cobras up 2-1 before time expired.

The Royals outshot the Cobras 12-7 with
Juan Carlos Carrillo claiming their lone shot on goal. Senior goalkeeper
Matt Current collected two saves on the night.

During halftime of tonight's game, the team celebrated its five seniors, Luis Campos,
Matt Current,
Juan Carlos Carrillo,
Patrick Aravena and
Caio Maciel.

 The Royals finish regular season play at Lander University on Wednesday Oct. 25. The match is set to start at 5 p.m.
