CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team defeated Anderson University (6-61-1, 3-4-1), 2-0, tonight to advance their record to 6-4-4 overall and 3-3-3 in the South Atlantic Conference.

Edmundo Robinson scored both of the Royals' goals this evening striking first 25 minutes into the first half when he chipped Trojan goalkeeper Gal Elyashiv. His goal was assisted by
Keegan Burton. Queens continued to pressure Anderson's backline, getting off three more shots to the Trojans zero before the period ended.

Robinson found the back of the net again in the second half after receiving a pass from
Juan Carlos Carrillo in the 69th minute. Once again Robinson found himself one-on-one with Elyashiv before putting the ball in the back of the net to help ensure the Royals' victory.

Together the Royals accumulated eight shots on goal to Anderson's one. Robinson led with three shots on goal while Burton added two.
Michael Hornsby,
Pedro Oliveira, and
Rene Uffing each had one. Queens goalkeeper
Sergio Lemus recorded one save and his third shutout of the season.

The Royals play host to Coker College on Saturday, Oct. 21 for their Senior Night match at 7:30 p.m. at the Dickson Field. Prior to the game, the team will be honoring their five seniors,
