Game Notes
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (18-1, 12-1 SAC) hosts Carson-Newman University (12-7, 9-4 SAC) on Saturday in a matchup of the first and third place teams in the South Atlantic Conference. The Royals continue to hold a two-game grasp on the top spot in the league after wins in each of their last two contests. The Eagles sit in a tie for third place after a 108-76 loss to Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday pushed Carson-Newman out of a tie for second.Â
The two sides met earlier this year at Holt Fieldhouse in Jefferson City, Tennessee with the Royals emerging victorious by a final score of 112-90.
Saturday is Military Appreciation Day and Youth Day at the Levine Center. All military personnel and children under the age of 18 receive free admission to the event.
Opening tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Curry Arena. A video broadcast of the game will be available atÂ
