CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (16-0, 10-0 SAC) hosts Wingate University (9-7, 6-4 SAC) on Wednesday night in a matchup of two of the South Atlantic Conference's hottest teams. Wingate has won six consecutive games, tied with Newberry for the second-longest active win streak in league, behind only the unbeaten record of Queens.

The rivalry between the Royals and Bulldogs has been tightly contested in recent history. Wingate handed Queens two of its seven total losses a season ago, in three meetings. The two sides were picked in a tie for second place in the conference's preseason poll.
