Box Score BREVARD, N.C. – The thirteenth ranked Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (20-2, 14-2, SAC) used a 20-6 run in the second half to take care of the host Brevard Tornados (3-18, 2-13 SAC) 102-87 on Saturday, February 6, 2016.

The Royals shot 56.1 percent from the field and made 12 three pointers in the game. Queens outrebounded Brevard 36-31 and were able to take advantage of 13 Tornados turnovers, turning them into 20 points.

Rob Lewis led the Royals with 24 points as he was 9-of-13 from the field and hit 6-of-8 three pointers.
Daniel Camps added another double-double to his resume as he snatched 10 rebounds to go along with his 22 points on the evening.
Sean Morgan continued his efficient shooting season as he added 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and 6-of-9 shooting from the free throw line.

Queens held a nine point, 20-11 lead to start the game after a Camps jumper with 15:15 on the clock. Minutes later, Brevard's Omar El Diraoui knocked down a three pointer to cut the Royals lead down to four points, 27-23 with just over ten minutes to play in the first half.
Tate Small's fast break layup with 5:24 remaining in the first half capped a 15-5 Royals run to give them a 42-28 lead. The Royals scored the last points of the first half as
Todd Withers hit both of his free throws to give them a 52-37 lead going into the break.

Brevard came out of the half on a mission as they went on a 13-2 run to cut the Royals lead down to only four points, 54-50, following a Stevie Williams fast break layup. Queens would respond by going on a 13-4 run that would increase their lead to 67-54 with 15 minutes to play. Over the next six minutes, the Tornados worked to cut Queens' lead down to five points, 78-73 with just over nine minutes to play in the game. From that moment on, the Royals took their game to another level, outscoring the Tornados 20-6 and taking a 98-79 lead with 3:20 to go in the game. That run would clinch the game for the Royals as they went over the century mark and took home a 102-87 over Brevard.

Stevie Williams led the way for Brevard as he scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the game. The Tornados had another player score 20 points in the game as Miles Leathers added 20 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists.

The Royals will return to the Levine Center in their next game as they play host to the Wingate Bulldogs on Wednesday, February 10th, at 8:00 p.m.
