Box Score HARROGATE, TENN. – The eighth ranked Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (12-1, 6-1 SAC) had their 12 game winning streak broken against 19th ranked Lincoln Memorial (12-2, 8-0 SAC), 86-76, in a matchup between two conference rivals and Top 25 foes on January 9th, 2016.

The Royals were led by
Sean Morgan who scored 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field and added nine rebounds.
Daniel Camps was the only other Queens player who scored in double digits as he added 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting.

Queens shot 45.2 percent from the field, which was only a .3 percent difference, compared to Lincoln Memorial who shot 45.5 percent from the field in the game. The difference in the game was from the three-point line and in points off of turnovers, as the Railsplitters shot 52.4 percent from deep range compared to the Royals 27.3 percent from three-point land and 27 points scored for Lincoln Memorial off of 16 Royals turnovers.

The Royals took their first lead of the game, 6-5, following a Camps dunk off of a
Sean Morgan assist in the first four minutes of the game. Lincoln Memorial's offense would then catch fire as they went on a 19-5 run that lasted over eight minutes to give the Railsplitters a 24-11 lead with 9:15 to play in the first half. Queens would return the favor and go on a run of their own, outscoring Lincoln Memorial 13-4 over a five-minute span to bring the Royals within four points, 28-24, following a Camps three pointer with 4:49 remaining in the half. The Royals would end the half down by six, 41-35, as the Railsplitters' Jalen Steele would drain a three pointer as time expired.

Lincoln Memorial came out of halftime and scored six straight points, giving them a 46-35 lead in the early minutes of the second half. A
Marquis Rankin led 5-0 run would help the Royals cut the lead to 55-48 with 12:56 to go in the game. The Railsplitters responded with a 14-4 run to take their largest lead of the game, 69-52, with 9:19 remaining in the game. Queens battled back over the next seven minutes to decrease the 17 point deficit as Morgan's dunk and made free throw made the score 82-73, cutting the Lincoln Memorial lead down to only nine points. The Railsplitters held strong to end the game, as they would knock the Royals off of their unbeaten run by winning 86-76.

Luquon Choice and Jalen Steele were Lincoln Memorials' leading scorers in the game as they each added 19 points in the win. Emanuel Terry was the team's leading rebounder as he gathered eight rebounds to go along with 12 points in the game.

The Royals will get back on the court on Wednesday, January 13th, as they travel to Lenoir-Rhyne in a conference matchup that is slated to tip-off at 8:00 p.m.
