CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (17-12), seeded fourth in the South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Championship, will travel to Greenville, S.C., tomorrow to face top-seeded and third nationally ranked Lincoln Memorial University (28-1) in the semifinal round. The game will take place at Timmons Arena on the campus of Furman University.

After falling in both regular season games with LMU, the Royals will be looking to continue their spectacular play from Wednesday night so they can right the ship against the Railsplitters the third time around.

LMU defeated the Royals at home in November by a score of 66-51 with Luquon Choice leading the way scoring 18 points. SAC Player of the Year Lorenza Ross added 13 points for the Railsplitters. Queens was led by
Sean Morgan who totaled 17 points and was the only Royals to reach double figure scoring.

In January the Royals traveled to Harrogate, Tenn., falling 101-69.
Marquis Rankin led Queens in the loss scoring a season-high 21 points. Morgan added 12 points and
Jedarian Jackson chipped in with 10 points. The Railsplitters had six players reach double digit scoring in the game. Dorian Pinson totaled 18 points to lead, while Tim Pierce and Gerel Simmons added 15 points each.

Queens enters the semifinal round after defeating Wingate 84-66 in their third meeting of the season. After dropping two close ones to the Bulldogs, the Royals jumped out to a 10-point lead early in the first half and never looked back. Queens would lead by as much as 26 points before the final horn sounded.
Rob Lewis led the way with 27 points, while
Jedarian Jackson pulled down a season-high 16 rebounds.
Marquis Rankin added 19 points and seven assists.

The Railsplitters advanced to the semifinals after defeating Brevard College 71-56 on Wednesday night. Once again, multiple players reached double figure scoring. Ross led with 15 points and Keenan Peterson scored 14 points. Pierce and Curtis Webb added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Tip-off for Saturday's semifinal game in Timmons Arena is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
