Anderson, S.C. – A narrow upset befell the No. 29 Royals as Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team (6-1, 1-1 SAC) traveled to the Trojans of Anderson University (7-1, 4-0 SAC) on Wednesday, March 04, 2015. The Royals undefeated run would come to a close as Anderson took a 5-4 score to secure the win.
After taking two of the three doubles courts, the singles matches had a different feel as Anderson battled to overcome a 2-1 match score and overturn the Royals. Anderson took hold of four courts to find their winning point leaving Queens to claim the remaining two.

Per-Erik Soler and
Andor Vas sought another victory in the No. 1 doubles spot going 8-5 against Nicolas Ascarrunz and Juan Carracedo.
Jules Athalis and
Will Roberson maintained their undefeated record as partners grabbing an 8-6 win at the No. 2 Doubles spot against Mateo Rivas and Harris Kansol.
Soler maintained his clean record playing at the No. 1 Singles taking his sixth win of the year. Soler win came over Ascarrunz taking the match 6-3, 6-1. Vas gave the team their last point of the day seeing a smooth 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 4 spot against Calhoun.
Royals will take some time off before heading back to the courts on Sunday, March 22 to take on Coker College in Hartsville, S.C.
