KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team, off to their best start in school history and unbeaten on the season, have moved up four places into the 17th position in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Rankings that were released on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
 
The Royals are now only one place behind South Atlantic Conference opponent Lincoln Memorial who comes in ranked in 16th place. Queens has won all seven of their games to start the season, with the latest being a 75-64 win against Anderson University on Saturday, December 5th. Sean Morgan scored a career high 30 points in the game and the Royals scored 44 of their points in the paint.
 
As a team, Queens is shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 41% from three-point range so far this year. The Royals are also averaging 86.6 points per game and are defeating their opponents by an average of 9.5 points per game. Rob Lewis is the team's leading scorer as he is averaging 20.6 points per game and there are five other Royals who are averaging at least nine points per game.
