CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte director of athletics
Jeannie King is pleased to announce the growth of her staff as
Randall Goble joins the Royals as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities. Goble joins Queens after spending the past six years at Berry College in Rome, Ga.

"Randall brings over 20 years of experience in athletic facilities oversight," King commented. "The Levine Center will be the third facility that he has successfully integrated into a campus setting that embraces every facet of university life. He is a perfect fit for Queens and we look forward to his leadership during this exciting time."

At Berry, Goble was responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the Steven J. Cage Athletic and Recreation Center serving as the director. Goble handled reservations for the athletic, academic and intramural divisions, while also supervising the staff, fitness center, natatorium and gymnasiums in the facility. He also held event management responsibilities.

Prior to stepping into his position at Berry, Goble served as the coordinator of undergraduate services for the Department of Health, Physical Education and Sport Science for the last three years of his 17 year stint at Kennesaw State University.

Goble was the university's facility coordinator from 1990-2004, in addition to serving as the assistant women's basketball coach from 1992-2000. From 2000-2004, he was also the head academic advisor for the Department of Health, Physical Education and Sports Science.

Goble earned bachelor's degrees in accounting and business administration from Berry in 1988. While a student, Goble was a member on the men's basketball team, and following graduation he was named the assistant coach and worked in that capacity until 1990.

"I am excited to move into this new role at Queens," said Goble. "The staff has been wonderful in welcoming me, and I look forward to the new challenges ahead with the Levine Center opening in the coming months."

Additionally, Goble has a master's degree in health studies from the University of Alabama.
