CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Queens University of Charlotte's basketball teams will play their conference openers this Saturday evening beginning with the women at 5:30 p.m. The men's game will follow at 7:30 p.m.

In efforts to not split the Royals fan base, the basketball games against Lees-McRae College were pushed back to later start times after Queens' volleyball team defeated North Greenville University last night to advance to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship game on Saturday. Queens will host that game at 2 p.m. at Myers Park High School.

All home Queens basketball games will be played at the Grady Cole Center.
