Johnson and Schoenhals named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Team

Named to the All-District Second Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Katherine Johnson (Chapel Hill, N.C., Northwood )and Sarah Schoenhals (Medford, Oregon, South Medford) have been named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Team. The seniors are members of the women's soccer team here at Queens University of Charlottel. Queens participates in the district three college division. Johnson and Schoenhals are two of three selected from Conference Carolinas.

Johnson is a corporate communication major with a 3.93 GPA. The senior has started in every game for the Royals this season. She leads the conference in total assists with seven. The co-captain also has two goals giving her eleven total points for the year. Johsnon also has two game winning goals.

Schoenhals is a bio-chemistry major planning on attending medical school. She has a 3.90 GPA.
Schoenhals has started in all but one of the games for Queens this season. She is a defensive threat making it hard for opponents to score against the Royals each game.
