Senior RS Anna Gibbs has been selected as the female InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month for November after leading the Royals to their first NCAA appearance in school history.

"Anna has been an intricate part to the team’s success this past season and within the month of November as she lead the team in hitting percentage and blocks," said head coach Lettie Wilkes. "She is a display of a true Division II player who maintains the balance of being a student-athlete, while being engaged on campus and in the community."

Gibbs finished the season with 307 total kills and her hitting percentage of .332 was good for fourth in the conference and 53 overall in the nation. Gibbs was honorable mention all-conference and second team all-state.
