Kaitlyn Cheek (Richmond, Va., JR Tucker ) of the softball team has been named the February Intercon Student-Athlete of the Month. Cheek batted .350 with six RBI’s, two homeruns, 14 walks and a .550 slugging percentage in the month of February.  She started all the games during the month with only one error and a fielding percentage of .922. To date Cheek has a 3.87 GPA while majoring in Biology with a concentration in Physical Therapy with a double minor in Psychology and Spanish.  She is also the president of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.
