Alex Bauch of the men's swimming team played a crucial role in the program's first-place finish at the National Invitational Championship. Of the six events Bauch competed in, he earned first-place finishes in five of them (50 back, 100 back, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and 400 medley relay), contributing to four broken meet records. He was the top scorer for all Queens swimmers and his efforts in the pool contributed to him being named Swimmer of the Meet.
