Queens University of Charlotte Athletics

Adia Brisker of the Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team has been named January InterCon Female Student-Athletes of the Month for her performances during the month. 

Brisker of Pittsburgh, Pa., led the Royals to their first ASUN victory during the month as Queens topped North Florida, 68-53. The guard recorded a career-high 25 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the year. For the month, Brisker averaged 14.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. She scored over 24 points in three games and missed the single-game record for steals by one after totaling nine against Austin Peay on Jan. 28.
