Matej Dusa of the Queens University of Charlotte men's swimming team has been named January InterCon Male Student-Athlete of the Month for his performances during the month.

Dusa helped the Royals go 2-2 in the month of January winning a total of seven events while placing second in five events. He set a new pool record in the 50 free in the Royals' meet with Tennessee and Virginia Tech, clocking a time of 19.49 seconds. Following his three first-place swims and Georgia Tech, the Bratislava, Slovakia native earned CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors.
