Following a very successful month of competition, Casey Tarvin of women's volleyball earned October InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month honors.

Tarvin, a junior, guided the women's volleyball team to an 8-2 record during the month and recorded seven double-doubles in earning three South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week awards. For the month, the Leander, Texas native totaled 152 kills (4.11/set) and hit .210 from the outside while chipping in 152 digs (4.11/set) to go along with 24 total blocks and 10 service aces.
